Information about our submission process and what type of music we release

We are looking to release newly created music, or new adaptions of older music in all classical music styles and sub-styles.

The submissions must be a mix of either Canadian performers playing any style from anywhere, OR music created by Canadian composers played by any artists.

We are also interested in releasing Indigenous/Métis classical or traditional music (Pow-wow, big drum, fiddle , cross-over, etc) or classical music composed by indigenous artists.

Some Genres we accept:


1) Standard instrumental (solo, duo, small/large ensemble)

2) Operatic / Vocal

3) Renaissance/Early Music

4) Symphonic or Orchestral

5) Contemporary Classical / New music / 20-21st century

6) Classical Cross-Over

7) Original works and compositions

8) Public domain re-imaginings

9) Indigenous/Métis classical or traditional music (Pow-wow, Big Drum, Fiddle, cross-over, etc)

Genres we do not accept:

1) Classical adaptations of popular music (example: Bridgerton style soundtracks)

2) Video Game music

If you have a project already recorded and produced and are looking to release it out into the world please reach out to us.

We are interested in studio or Live/concert album releases.

We can help with Digital and Physical distribution as well album promotion.

Yes, We are accepting all pitches for interesting and cutting edge projects.

We offer in-depth executive production and recording services for all acoustic music genres. Our staff engineer is a Juno winning classical engineer who is ready to work with you on bringing your project to life.

Please submit a formal pitch to Canadianclassicalrecords@gmail.com including yours or your groups bio’s, past proof of project completion and this current projects concept/ideas.

We will need the following:

1) A written statement about the project, type or style of music, a list of the people involved,

2) Bio’s and all social media/websites of all members of the group

3) A sample of the project.

4) A short list of Comparable’s (albums or music already released that sounds similar)
